Party games for your Discord channel

Sigil has four games you can start in any channel with one command: a social deduction game, a word game with a bomb, a memory game and a daily word puzzle.

What it does

  • Spy (/spy): everyone gets the same word by private message, except one impostor who gets none. Give one word each, then vote for who you think never got the word.
  • Bomb party (/bomb): a chunk of letters appears and the bomb lands on one player, who has to type a real English word containing it before it goes off. Choose Easy, Normal or Hard.
  • Keep up! (/keepup): a string of digits flashes up, then you type it back. Every turn is one digit longer, and Sigil deletes your answer as soon as it is checked so nobody can copy it.
  • Weave (/weave): a daily word game. Everyone gets the same nine letters and makes one word. Your server's message fills with who has played and turns into a scoreboard at midnight UTC. Words are never shown to the server.

Set it up

  1. Add Sigil to your server and run /setup (Weave works before that, too).
  2. Type the game's command in a channel, for example /spy.
  3. Players press Join, and the host presses Start once enough people are in. The host can end the game any time.
  4. For Weave, play on the website: it works the same for everyone, in every server.

Good to know

  • Bomb party and Keep up! need the bot to be able to read the words and digits people type in the channel, and Keep up! needs the Manage Messages permission to delete answers.
  • A lobby closes by itself if it never starts, so an abandoned game does not clutter the channel.
  • Weave also has a global ranking by total points, and people can switch themselves off the leaderboards in their profile settings.
