A profile bot: one card that follows you between servers

Build your card once on the Sigil website: your games, shows, music and links. Then /profile shows it in any server with the bot, and the personal commands work anywhere on Discord if you add Sigil to your own account.

What it does

  • /profile shows anyone's card in the channel, with a button to open the full card. As a Sigil Supporter it can show the card as a picture on that person's own background.
  • /vibe is a fun compatibility check for any two people who have cards: a percentage, a few words on how well they go together, and what they have in common.
  • /matchme compares your card with someone's, or, if you switch it on, finds the people in your server who match you best.
  • /nowplaying shows the song someone is listening to, with a link so you can listen too.
  • Right-click any message, choose Apps, then Sigil: Quote card, to turn it into a picture in the style of its author's card.

Set it up

  1. Log in with Discord on the Sigil website and build your card.
  2. Add Sigil to your server, or to your own account for the personal commands anywhere.
  3. Type /profile to show your card, or /link to get the link to it privately.

Good to know

  • Matching is opt-in: only people who switch it on in Edit profile are ever suggested to others.
  • People can switch off quote cards for their own messages, and /nowplaying for their own listening, in Edit profile.
  • Your card is yours to arrange: choose what to show and what to leave out.
