Schedule Discord messages, once or on a repeat

/schedule add posts a message when you say, in your own time zone. A weekly post stays at the same clock time all year, even when the clocks change.

What it does

  • Say when in plain words: in 2h30m, tomorrow 6pm, friday 19:30, 2026-10-03 19:30, or paste a Discord timestamp.
  • Repeat every hour, day, week or month.
  • Choose the channel and an optional role to mention. A scheduled post can never ping @everyone or a person.
  • /schedule list shows the server's scheduled posts and /schedule remove cancels one.

Set it up

  1. Add Sigil to your server and run /setup.
  2. Run /schedule add with the text and when it should go out. Add a repeat if you want one.
  3. Check it with /schedule list.

Good to know

  • Clock times use the time zone you give: a name like Europe/London or America/New_York, or an offset like UTC+2. Without one, UTC is used.
  • A server can have up to 15 scheduled posts.
  • If Sigil is away when a post is due it is sent late only up to 6 hours, then skipped.
  • For personal reminders, /remind is the one to use.
