Use Sigil anywhere
Add Sigil to your own Discord account and the personal commands work in any server, group chat or private chat.
You do not need a server's permission to use Sigil's personal commands. Add Sigil to your Discord account and they work everywhere on Discord, even where the bot is not a member.
- Go to getsigil.me/install.
- Discord asks you to authorise Sigil for your account. It asks for no permissions at all, only the commands.
What works anywhere
/remind, /profile, /link, /vibe, /level, /nowplaying, /birthday, /weave, /help, /ping, and the right-click Sigil: Remind me. They work in any server, any group chat and any private chat.
In the command list, these are marked Anywhere.
What still needs the bot in the server
Commands that run a server's tools (welcome, roles, games) need the bot added to that server and set up there. Adding Sigil to your account does not change that.
Private chats
In a private chat with the bot there is no server, so only the personal commands are there: /profile, /link and /vibe among them.
